No More ‘Heroes,’ But More Heroes on the Small Screen

First from NBC, ‘The Cape.’ Looks to play super heroes straight and remind us that costumes made for tv usually aren’t that good looking. I’m a bit apprehensive of this one. Reminds me a lot of the 90s super hero tv shows, like Nightman. I’ll give it a shot, but not really excited about it. But it does have Summer Glau in it.

This one actually looks really good, from ABC, ‘No Ordinary Family.’ Michael Chiklis just wants to be a superhero so badly. It’s obviously a turn at the Fantastic Four/Incredibles type of story, but it looks good in the trailer, in my opinion. This will be DVRed as soon as possible.

Do you plan on checking out either one this fall? What other new show announcements are you excited about?
