Matt’s back to talk about ordering comics (apologies this ep. was recorded in early Oct., so some titles discussed are old but the info is still good) and along with this I interview Brian Hibbs from Comix experience about his comic ordering habits.
Brian is also a member of the Comics Professional Retail Organization an writes the Tilting at Windmills column for Newsarama.

Great show, It was interesting to get some current insite on how the local shops are doing the ordering.
I started listening because your a fellow farpoint guy but I’m hooked.
I’m digging the show, and looking forward to working my way back through the archives, but my first impression was pure Comic Book Guy; John was very vocal about what he DOESN’T like, but it wasn’t until the talk of t-shirts that he seemed to be boosting anything. John, dude, I hope there’s some positive fanboy energy in the earlier episodes!
Excellent interview, lots of new insights and, again, awesome buddy-banter! Keep up the good work boys, and you’ve got yourself a new regular!

Sorry if it seemed a bit negative, dave. I generally try not to, but talking about Diamond really raises my ire. Or it could have just been the way I edited, recording this episode it was over 2 hours long, so I did some heavy editing. As soon as I can get Matt back in studio we’ll talk about some of the things we love in comics.
I STILL rant and rave whenever someone says Spider-Man 2099’s costume is blue*. Never apologize for venting! It’s the hard-earned right of every otaku! Do it with pride! Do it with conviction! BE the geek!
*in issue #3, Miguel tells Lyla to tell Venture that “a horrible man in black” just ran by her. Also, the costume was originally a Death’s Head costume… Death does not wear blue! AND blue is the standard color for shading black! Does Superman have blue hair? NO! It’s black! BLACK!
