I’ve just really gotta wonder if you even think about the words that come out of your mouth sometimes.
You start the show off by introducing a Paul Revere comic that includes zombies and demons, a comic to which you said you were looking forward, and then you make assinine statements about how cross-genre stories are hurting comics? Huh?
There’s a new television show coming out this winter on SciFi. It’s the Dresden Files. It blends magic and wizardry with a hard-boiled detective style story. Cross-genre books have been on the shelves at bookstores for years. Why would cross-genre stories hurt comics if it’s good for paperbacks? If anything, it would help to break that friggin’ spandex stereotype.
