Pull List for Week of 12/31/08

Matt told me the books don’t come out until friday this week, so don’t rush to your comic shop tomorrow, but Here’s my pull list for this week anyways. What am I missing? What do I need to pick up?

Looking For Group TP Vol 1, $14.95

Looking For Group is one of the best comics out there for the MMORPGer, Fantasy Gamer, or Fantasy Reader.
You can read the entire thing free on their website, but I dig it enough to throw some cash, Plus I think the wife will like it.

Vinyl Underground TP Vol 2 Pretty Dead Things, $17.99

Sean McKeever, I loved Gravity. I liked The Waiting Place. I have every issue you’ve done of Mystique, Inhumans and Sentinel. I even picked up Mega Morphs because your name was on the cover. But Teen Titans just struck me wrong for so long, I gave it up. I’m back for 66-69 setting up the new cast. I’m hoping this will be your shot to really do something with it. If not, I hate to say it, but I’m done.

Vinyl Underground is one of the most interesting books Vertigo is putting out right now. I say interesting and not good because not everyone will like it. But I liked the first issue enough to buy the trade. I liked the first trade enough to buy the second. That should say something.

I’ve admitted and I’ll admit here. I’m addicted to Dark Regin. I’ve been reading A:I since the beginning, I really hop it’s not going away. And I didn’t jump on the WM issues of Iron Man, I’ll be checking this one out, because like I said, I’m addicted to Dark Reign.

So, what amazing books am I missing? If you recommend it, I’m willing to give an issue a try and talk about it on the show.
