Matt Smith!

…
Who? Doctor Who!
But all wordplay aside. Not even those that actually get to see the BBC are familiar with his extremely film light resume.
He seems most well known for his run on a the BBC series, Party Animals, which lasted all of 8 episodes.
But apparently, he has a history in stage acting.
He looks a little too pouty pretty boy from the pictures I’ve seen of him. And he looks a bit too young. (He’s younger than me by two months.) Does this mean we may see a more suave heart throb-y Doctor? I’m not sure, I’ll have to wait until Next Christmas to make a decision.
What do you think?

I remember watching Party Animals, which was about the staff of a politician. If I recall correctly, his brother was a lobbyist who had the better part. He was the responsible, careful one on the show.
The rest of the cast had much better parts now that I think about it. He seemed to be the one that the audience was supposed to be to relate with.
Is it just me or does the Doctor get younger with each regeneration?
The Doctor does get younger with each regeneration. That I think this latest jump is a bit extreme going from someone in their 40s to someone in their 20s.
From the Regeneration Wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regeneration_(Doctor_Who)
Producer Innes Lloyd further suggested that the Doctor could do this “renewal” regularly, transforming from an older man to a younger one. This would allow for the convenient recasting of the role when necessary.
