Of Coffee and Comic Strips

Thanks to Derek from Comic Book Noise for alerting me to this story.

Mike Peters, cartoonist of Mother Goose and Grimm is being sued for the above cartoon by Columbian Coffee Growers.

I, personally, think the funny thing is my local paper doesn’t carry Mother Goose & Grimm; I would have never have seen the above cartoon with its allusion to the Columbian Crime Lords if not for the controversy that the Coffee Growers started.
