Pull List 2/4/09

In a shocking event, I actually picked up my books on Wednesday. I’ll be posting up some reviews as long as I’m not too busy this weekend.

I initially wasn’t going to pick this one up, but Sidebar had a great interview with Jason Shawn Alexander that peaked my interest enough to try it out.

If you haven’t had enough preview pages of Agents of Atlas or Secret Warriors, you must not read marvel at all, in which case, you wouldn’t be interested anyways.

ONI PRESS
Scott Pilgrim GN Vol 5 Scott Pilgrim Vs The Universe, $11.95

RADICAL PUBLISHING
Freedom Formula #5 (Cover A Patrick Reilly), $2.99
Hotwire #1 (of 5)(Cover A Steve Pugh), $2.99

Hotwire #1 Preview Pages
That’s right I’m actually picking up Radical’s entire publishing catalogue this week. I really have to eat some crow after some of my criticism of them, I still think it’s a fair assessment of their early books, but it seems they’re putting a little more effort in the new ones.

  1. Ben (UK) says:

Farscape was good, it feels like the show, god I miss that show!

From Marvel Secret Warriors really was as good as I hoped it would be.

And if I am gonna pick one ‘indie’ one Marvel then I need one DC. Mighty, well, I think it was interesting, but it might not make my very expensive weekly pick list.

  2. Gianluca says:

Glad to have won you over with Hotwire and hopefully keep with with the new Hercules, Aladdin, FVZA and The Last Days of American Crime.
