BOOM! STUDIOS
Eureka #2 (of 4)(Cover A J.K. Woodward), $3.99
I’m a fan of the show. The first issue was pretty good, I really hope they use the medium a bit more and go bigger than what they can do on screen.
DC COMICS
Green Lantern #38 (Blackest Night Prelude)(Origins & Omens Tie-In), $2.99
IMAGE COMICS
Dynamo 5 #20, $3.50
Savage Dragon #145 (Cover A Officer Dragon), $3.50
I’ve said before Savage Dragon was one of those books that opened my eyes to there being more books out there than just Marvel and DC. 145 is a new jumping on point, or so I’ve been told, plus another Barack Obama cover. (I actually wanted the other cover, but LCS didn’t have any.)
MARVEL COMICS
Avengers Initiative #22 (Dark Reign Tie-In), $2.99
New Avengers #50 (Billy Tan Regular Wraparound Cover)(Dark Reign Tie-In), $4.99
Runaways 3 #7, $2.99
She-Hulk 2 #38, $3.99
Thunderbolts #129 (Francesco “Matt” Mattina Regular Cover)(Dark Reign Tie-In), $2.99
Last Issue of She-Hulk.
ONI PRESS
Wasteland #24, $3.50
RED 5 COMICS
Atomic Robo TP Vol 2, $19.95
To be honest, I wish I had picked up the individual issues of Atomic Robo, but I didn’t, so I give this book the trade love.

Atomic Robo really is an amazing book. I jumped on with trade two and I will be going back for more!
NA #50 was suitably big, the one page single character POV’s with seperate artists was a really nice touch.
I thought this months Green Lantern was one of the more weaker GL books for some time. I hope it get back on par for whats coming.
Atomic Robo really is one of those amazing little books that will probably never get the notice it really deserves until Brian Clevinger gets a short mini or fill in with one of the big two, while they’re calling him a ‘young gun’ five years from now. Then there will be the “discovery” of his little known work. ie, same thing that happened with Kirkman and several others.
New Avengers, I thought was really Bendis at his dialogue driven best, though the recreated few pages from Dark Avengers 2 kind of bothered me because I kept thinking “Did I already read this issue?” A text bubble or a panel overlapping with a crossover issue is fine, but pages? Also $5 If I had noticed when I picked it up, I probably would have put it back without reading.
Thanks for checking in, Ben. Excellent NY Con Summary on your site.
