Matt’s Pull List for 3/25/09

Matt’s finely decided to grace us with some of his… unique opinion on comics outside of the podcast.
Here’s Matt’s featured pulls of the week.

1) Battle for the Cowl: Commissioner Gordon #1

BFTC #1 was Awesome! And I’ve been really digging the One-Shots and Mini Series.
The Azrael Mini Series was Interesting Last Week…Thank God Jean-Paul Valley is Dead.

2) Captain America #48

Nah Sayers aside, this has been a Solid Read. I’m tired of some people Bitching about Bucky.
Get over it, Steve Rogers is DEAD. We all Miss him, but Bucky is trying his Best.
Change of an Artist this Issue is No Big Deal…It’s Still Brubaker’s Book.

3) New Avengers #51

Who is the New Sorcerer Supreme? Good Question. When all is said and done it’ll still be Doctor Strange.
Plus, can the Avengers trust Spider-Man if he won’t take off his Mask? Oh I know why!
Because it’s Magic. That always explains everything. Thanks again Joe Q.

4) Proof #18

I’ve loved this book since the Beginning. It’s X-Files meets Hellboy and the main Character is a Sasquatch.
This issue, you find out alittle bit about Proof’s past. The story takes place in 1860s London.
Murder is afoot and Proof falls for the “Baboon Lady” named Julia. Oh I forgot to mention, he’s in a Traveling Circus.

5) Transformers: All Hail Megatron #9

I know the Super Hard Core Fans hate this Series. Optimus Prime is Dead…Megatron and the Decepticons have taken over Earth…Sunstreaker betrayed the Autobots.
Last stand of the Autobots on Cybertron. Don’t miss this Issue.

John’s Comment: I love that bad ass Optimus Prime cover. Prime standing there saying, “Megatron can hail my Optim-ass!”

6) DC Superhero Figurine #4 Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

I know this isn’t a Comic Book, But I Love these Lead figures by Eaglemoss.
I have a Ton of them. The best part is that they come with the History of each Character.

Of course, now I have to make my Pull List look all bad ass too, so give me an extra day. So, what’d you guys think? Give us some encouragement, tell Matt you want to see more.
