Meet Brad Melter in Delray, FL

One of my twitter friends, let me know about this, and since I know a good portion of listeners are from this area, I felt it deserved passing on.

Three weeks from now, April 18, Brad Meltzer is going to be doing a talk/signing about his new book, Book of Lies, at a Delray, FL library.

Meltzer is one of those people that got into comics purely because of passion. He named one of his early novel characters ‘Oliver’ based on his love of Green Arrow, and even got to follow up on it by writing Green Arrow after Kevin Smith left the title.

Even his new book, The Book of Lies (Amazon Link – Softcover) has a tie to comics. It’s based on the story of the death of the father of Jerry Siegel, creator of superman.

From what I’ve been told, he may be up for signing a comic or two, as well.

Just keep it short. If you show up with a huge pile of every single Meltzer book you own, with multiple covers, I reserve the right to smack the crap out of you.
