Dark Comic Projects

Across the comic sites and blogs, Marvel has started laying hints about their summer projects.

The Dark X-men. This along with the recently announced Sinister Spider-man and Dark Avengers and Dark Young Avengers is making the marvel universe darker than the emo kid cutting himself in the back of art class. Marvel is really on the move to be the darkest publisher out there.

DC is making their own pull for Darkness. Bringing their heroes back as horrible undead zombies. (Psst, Marvel already did this) But, DC is actually doing it in their core universe. ANd it’s so dark, They can’t even show it in color.

And Marvel retaliates with something so dark, they can’t even show anything other than the logo….

Of course, I did some searching around and found what this dark preview leads to. Unfortunately I have to hide it behind the cut so as not to darken your soul forever….

DARK! So dark, he only listens to Johnny Cash.

BTW, Can we get Johnny Cash back as a Black Lantern? That really would be an epic win on my geek scorecard.
