I remember this series because it came out through Top Shelf, which traditionally published OGNs and larger collections and these were actual 32 page floppy issues. and Top Shelf is all about great quality comics, so seeing them step into the floppy realm, it really must have been a unique series.
Chris from Collected Comics Library had a great interview with Publish Chris Staros that talked quite a bit about the series. So, I’ll just point you that way instead of ramble on at length about it.
Well, since then it’s been optioned and is being made into a film, starring Bruce Willis, which you already know because you watched the trailer above. Of course, the aint-it-fools are already hopping all over it, calling it a combination of Matrix and I’Robot, which is a major diminishment. If it’s loyal to the book it will be a great movie, but to be honest, I’m a bit mixed based on the trailer. Have you read the series? what are your thoughts?
