Today, Captain America 25 came out, and like Civil War #2, this book had a big media response outside of just the insular comics world resulting in spoilers abounds. Luckily I’m not one to really care about spoilers, but if I did, I involuntarily ran into the MAJOR spoiler for this issue at least already 4 times today. Of course, I work in media so I may be a bit more prone to hearing things I wouldn’t otherwise, but still these were very open media outlets. And still, even though I knew the spoiler, I was still surprised to hear it in so many places.
So, is Big Media Coverage a good thing forth the growth of comics or is it just an annoyance for those that want to discover the stories in the pages of the comic?
