Plastic Man Pilot for Cartoon Network?

Watch it on Addicting Clips, since the embedding doesn’t want to work.

Visually it reminds me of Kyle Baker meets Ren & Stimpy, but contextually it’s more along the lines of Freakazoid. But my question is who is this marketed towards? It doesn’t seem to be intelligent enough to appeal to older audiences, but a bit coarse for younger audiences, and parents may object to a hero that’s a parolee.

    Hey John,
This might be a little late for this post, but…we had a chance to chat with actor Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants himself), and Plastic Man was partly his project. The footage is probably not around anymore due to copyright issues, but he really wanted to see it come to fruition. Unfortunately, it looks like that won’t happen any time soon. Anyway, take a listen to the interview if you’d like to find out more about it!
